Trip Planning without the Cost

BTravelrs is the only 100% free travel planning app out there. Other apps give you some basic functionality for free but then hide their best features behind a paywall that pushes you towards paying for an expensive annual subscription when you just need the app for a weekend with friends. And the worst part is that those features usually don't cost the company anything to provide.

We don't think that's right, that's why we provide every feature we build absolutely free, and we intend to keep it that way. We don't charge for any of the following functionality, and don't plan (pun intended) on it:

Now, you might be saying "Well, hold on! How do you make money and pay the bills then?!?!" And you're right to wonder.

We run a very tight ship so we can keep our expenses low. Lean team and lean tools but robust app. We make money through some limited in-app display ads (which we're working on doing away with as soon as financially possible) and affiliate partnerships, where we make a small commission of reservations you make through our app and links. This is the monetization direction we're headed and working on making it as valuable and seamless to you as it is to us.
